Eliza – Anyone Else
North London singer-songwriter Eliza returns with “Anyone Else”, her first single in two years and the lead track from a new album arriving early 2026 on Log Off Records. It’s her first real love song, written about her nine-year relationship with director Charlie Robins.
“Anyone Else” introduces an alt-rock edge to Eliza’s soulful sound. Grungy guitars pulse underneath her airy falsetto, creating a warm contrast between the chugging rhythm and her fluid vocal. Produced with longtime collaborator Finlay ‘Phairo’ Robson, the track references Smashing Pumpkins and Prince (always Prince, she says—he’s channeled through everything).
Lyrically, the song tackles letting go of fear and diving into love. Eliza describes it as a realisation about openness—something she’s felt more than before.
It’s been eight years since Eliza ditched “Eliza Doolittle” and the major label system to carve her path as an independent artist. She’s released two albums under Eliza: 2018’s “A Real Romantic” and 2022’s “A Sky Without Stars”. The upcoming album, which she describes as “very colourful” and summarises with one word—”Free”—marks a sonic departure while maintaining the thread that ties her work together.
The new project was actually finished before she had her baby, then sat for years while she got her act together to share it. She’s choosing to promote differently this time too—no music video for “Anyone Else”, prioritizing time and resources in ways that feel right for the current moment.
